James Baldwin founded Champion Life in 2007 with a desire to see everyone come to know Jesus and have a relationship with Him. With 4 people seated around a table, $50, and a lot of faith, it was James Baldwin's heart to start a church that wasn't typical - a real church with real people, and a church where no perfect people are allowed. Pastor James' visionary leadership has inspired church growth and outreach initiatives that shows the love of God to individuals, families, his community, and even across the nation and world. He is committed to the continued growth of Champion Life and the life it gives to our region. Bishop James has a daughter, Grace, a wife, Meghan, and two golden doodles: Daisy and Marley.

Josh Botello, a nationally acclaimed speaker, has travelled across the country and world sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and preaching a powerful message of revival. Josh is an author of multiple books and is an Apostle currently leading at Soilshakers Revival Centers in Sandy and Salt Lake City, Utah.

Bishop Carlos Garcia is a powerful voice for the Kingdom of God in South America, doing evangelistic work in Nicaragua and beyond, and leading over 15 churches in the area. 

Apostle Peter Chacha is the Founder and President of The Anointed of God Ministries and also runs a missions training program, “Christway School of Missions,” at Kehancha in Kenya East Africa. His Apostolic ministry has touched many lives in Kenya, other African countries, Jamaica and several states in the United States of America. Apostle Chacha has a passion for missions and has been in the frontline in spiritual warfare. 
He pastors a local church in Nakuru, and oversees several branches across Kenya. He’s married to his lovely wife, Anne, and together are blessed with three sons. Apostle Chacha and his family live in Kenya, East Africa.

​Devin Spradling became a part of Champion Life in 2015 right after he graduated high school. With Lead Pastor, James Baldwin, they founded the youth group, CLC Youth, which Pastor Devin currently oversees. Pastor Devin was ordained and officially recognized as the Associate Pastor in April 2017. In addition to the youth ministry, Pastor Devin also oversees the day-to-day operations of the church, as well as the church’s worship team and choir. He lives in Altoona with his Golden Doodle, Max.
