James Baldwin
​Presiding Bishop/Lead Pastor, Champion Life

​James Baldwin founded Champion Life in 2007 with a desire to see everyone come to know Jesus and have a relationship with Him. With 4 people seated around a table, $50, and a lot of faith, it was James Baldwin's heart to start a church that wasn't typical - a real church with real people, and a church where no perfect people are allowed. Pastor James' visionary leadership has inspired church growth and outreach initiatives that shows the love of God to individuals, families, his community, and even across the nation and world. He is committed to the continued growth of Champion Life and the life it gives to our region. Bishop James has a daughter, Grace, a wife, Meghan, and two golden doodles: Daisy and Marley.

Devin Spradling
​Associate Pastor, Champion Life 

​Devin Spradling became a part of Champion Life in 2015 right after he graduated high school. With Lead Pastor, James Baldwin, they founded the youth group, 180, which Pastor Devin currently oversees. Pastor Devin was ordained and officially recognized as the Associate Pastor in April 2017. In addition to the youth ministry, Pastor Devin also oversees the day-to-day operations of the church, as well as the church’s worship team and choir. He lives in Altoona with his Golden Doodle, Max.
